Operational Working Group

PRIME Centre Wales Operational WorkingGroup meets monthly and is comprised of Centre Directors, Work Package Leads and core-funded staff.

The aim of the group is to ensure effective cross-university collaboration of the team towards achieving the goals of PRIME including:

• The development of research grant applications and delivery of awarded studies
• Dissemination of research results: publishing peer reviewed papers, presentations & conferences
• Increasing capacity including fellowships, PhDs, new PIs/co-applicants and training 
• Patient and public involvement in research from idea development, funding and dissemination
• Social care integration
• Commercial and industrial engagement and collaboration
• Engagement with Welsh Government funded research infrastructure
• Effective communications, publicity and knowledge transfer of research
